The top 5 of WHY I LOVE SUPERMAN
1.Superman is an orphan (LIKE ME) sent in to the wilderness after the death of his home world. Never knowing anything about his origin, Kal El was fortunate enough to land on Earth where he would be discovered by two kind older people desperately looking for a child of their own. When fates met, Kal El’s destiny was sealed and he became a successful well loved person years before he ever became the protector of Earth’s people.
2.No matter what you’ve done, no matter who you are, Superman fights for you. He’ll take a cannonball to the face, he’ll stare down an army of evil rulers if he can help preserve you, and that’s a rule he stands by through and through. Whether you’re the president, a mobster, a down right bastard or an average joe in the wrong place at the wrong time, Superman will help you and ensure your safety. To quote Superman in the Shazam cartoon “I fight for people who can’t fight for themselves!”
3.The ultimate gift and curse of Superman’s supreme power is that he’ll basically outlive everyone he loves. Every woman he falls for will die and he won’t. He’ll likely be the last being on the planet and see the end of time. It’s what makes him so godly and so utterly fascinating.
4.Superman as a character is humble and filled with enough reluctance that he’s almost always perceived as
someone who can’t threaten even the most powerful despot in the galaxy. It’s Superman’s humility that keeps him grounded and ultimately makes him a superhero who narrowly avoids a god complex every single time.
5.He's done it over And over. And over. And over. He’s spent so much time using himself as a shield to protect the planet it’s insane that he’s only died once. The most groundbreaking instance happened when he fought the monstrous Doomsday and battled with him to the death. Superman ultimately did die in combat, but Doomsday did as well.
Is that me in a nut shell, f@$!# no, but you can be damn sure. This is the KIND OF MAN I wanna be..
WORK HARD, STAY STRONG, GET RESULTS!
Time to update. Back in january i set some goals up for my self to achieve. They haven't changed, but some have already been achieved.

Alright I'll be back again with a goal update soon!! WORK HARD, STAY STRONG , AND GET RESULTS!
Everything that I achieve begins before breakfast. The moment I'm out of bed I begin my mission. Healthy habits create long term efficiency and more victories.
I have a list of things I do every morning. It almost sounds compulsive, but the truth is so much easier. These habits keep me organized and full of energy.
REMEMBER being PREDICTABLE as a leader is a good thing.
Let's begin our morning. I don't start out with coffee or a coke. I'm not a sugar-high kind of guy. I sip down 5 raw eggs whipped up in a huge glass of milk. Yeah I know about salmonella, but if rocky did it then so can I.
Good old fashioned protein. Then, it's to the floor. There I stretch, keeping my body in as much balance as my mind. The two can't be without one another, and well..I have tight hamstrings.
I get an email every day from John maxwell. It's a free subscription from John Maxwell.com. Called a minute with maxwell. He shares a word of the day . These messages are my motivation. Today's word was millionaire. He discussed how being wealthy was surrounding your self with family and friends.
Last I look at my schedule for the day. I see who all I will come in contact with from my team, and who I will contact outside from them. What actions can I perform today, to grow my self and others. I usually come up with 3 I know I can finish within a 12 hour period.
The mission, and the vision, should be simple and concise. Try to understand that our mission is to create stronger, smarter, and more valuable forms of our selves. We want to be able to grow our selves and others!
Work hard, stay strong, and get results!
Finding the meaning behind all this mess. No easy feat, and not over night. NOTHING WORTH DOING HAPPENS OVER NIGHT.
Here's the clue. When you can't find your passion, change your attitude. Be a well oiled machine that keeps moving and shuts out all of the neigh sayers.
A few years ago, I was in a tough place. I had a job..that I hated. And I lived in a run down apartment with a guy that liked to party almost as much as I did. I wasn't productive, I didn't have any goals, and worst of all I wasn't happy.
In 2010 I changed my attitude. I got out of my hole, and took a breath of fresh air, and in my waking moment I decided to make a change. I packed my bags got on a plane and went west.
"If you don't know where your going, take any road. It will get you there."
The next two years I fought fires, cut down trees, grazed cattle, and did a thousand hours of volunteer work.
BUT..I still had not found my passion.
I had traveled thousands of miles, and tried everything. When would I know.
The silver lining is in the journey. The work, effort, struggle, and grief lead me to my passion.
I met my mentor working in a retail store. She gave me the opportunity to lead. So, I grew, and while I grew people noticed, and they began to follow me. I found my passion in people, and through my journey.
The struggle ends when you realize your not alone, and there is always another road to be traveled! Work hard, stay strong, and get results!!
So, what's the point. Why do I always get a great idea in my head. I approach it. I research it. I even begin the process, but when it gets rough I quit.. This is all too true, when it comes to 90% of the ideas that flow through my head. Most of them are a little outlandish, some impossible, but all are part of a bigger dream.
I had a crazy idea to start a home based company for cleaning homes. I was gonna call it "Buff and Clean". I designed a logo, put some photos of myself and a partner out there, and even visited some perspective customers. The idea was 2 big dudes cleaned your home and we did it for a flat fee. I did it a few times made some money, and then realized how hard it was. Yeah I got out of that one quick.
WHY AM I TELLING YOU THIS?
Because I know you've been there. I know you have taken some thing on. You have set your goals...and you failed miserably..
BUT SEE..THATS OK..
YOU GOT GUTS! And now you need to focuss. The drive is there, but we need to center your thoughts and find the one thing that will get the job done.
1. Find the WHY behind what you are doing.
Don't choose a goal to focuss on simply because society conditioned you to do so. Go deeper, and reach for something that drives you. Doing what you love will help you persevere through all your obstacles.
So, you decided that not drinking soda for a few days, cause you read a post in a magazine about the health hazzards associated with soft drinks would be a good idea. That sounds pretty stupid to me. Your following the crowd my friend. Pick some thing that will build you up!!! It can be some thing as small as one coke a day, but it has to come with a greater vision.
Back up and say to your self. I will stop drinking soda. WHY?! BECAUSE A YEAR FROM NOW IT WILL MAKE ME A HEALTHIER PERSON. IT WILL IN STILL BETTER HABITS IN MY MIND AND MY BODY.
2. Focuss on WHAT YOU CAN DO NOW.
Take bite sized chunks out of your tasks. To better your self, you need to look at it as if you are getting 1% better a day. Do you realize by the end of the year you'll be a 365% better version of the previous you.
3. INSPIRE yourself to do it. DONT REQUIRE your self.
This has to be some thing you want deep down. When you find it, and you know why you want it...GO GET IT!!!!
Work hard, stay strong, and get results.
SPIT OUT THAT LIGHT WEIGHT! Time to eat heavy and lift big. To look swoll, start targeting those back muscles. As awesome as it is to have shirt popping arms, how about a tire flipping, bus pulling, can crushing back.
You hear guys talk about the V SHAPE. Well, it's because they have giant lats. That's part of your back.
You want your arms to look huge. Start doing bent over rows. One of the healthiest excersize you can do is the dead lift. It targets your shoulders, lower and upper back, and hamstrings.
Working your back is like opening a 401k for your body. Each time your work out you make a deposit that compounds fir your future.
Pull ups (3x6)
Your hamstrings need to be ready to lift. Get your blood moving.
1.Lat pull down (3x8)
keep the repetitions between 6 to 8 reps. If your going over 8 with good form up the weight.
2 min rest
2. upright rows (3x8) keep your elbows in tight and pull in to your belly button with your back strait. Get a big stretch on your way out, and then explode pulling in.
3. dead lift. (3x8) Careful of the weight you choose. This is a full body excersize that should be done with caution, but keep it heavy for the most benefit.
Great channel for the proper form:
4. run for 20 min on treadmill.
This workout is not for the faint of heart. Lifting heavy puts the heart under great strain, and making sure you have enough water will help with that.
DIETING FOR GAINS
If you want to make the most of these workouts you must be taking in at least 1 gram of protein per lb of body weight a day! Also up your calories by at least 500 more than what you are currently eating. If you don't gain weight your first week EAT MORE..
WORK HARD, STAY STRONG, AND GET RESULTS!!
Searching for happiness gives me a headache. I'm not looking for a new car, more money, sexxier girl friend, MORE. That's not my angle. Putting it into perspective, it's the people I surround myself with that make me the happiest.
I ran with a cheap crowd once. All of my friends were drunks and partyers. Don't count me out of that crowd. I was one to, but I didn't want it.
It wasn't until i hit my lowest pitfall that I realized my own predicament. Dad used to say " You got your self up there. You can get your self down."
He was so right. We always have a choice. It gathers from the work we do and the friends we make. If we could just see the logic behind our own decisions, we'd make better ones on the second try.
As I came out of my hole I found 3 traits, or categories of people I targeted, and some times attracted into my life.
First was the VICTIM. This is the person who never takes responsibility for his or her actions and always looks to play the blame game. Accountability in life is just the same as in business. I found that when I left these guys behind my life became so much less hectic.
Next is the REBEL. Or even the NONCOMFORMIST. I Don't care what you call them. Some people love to challenge the rules.
Of coarse, some folks are free thinkers, and are just trying to make a difference in the world, but some just take it a step further. Like being a know it all, barking orders, appointing themselves the leader of the pack with no vote.. That kind of toxic behavior can go drown itself...
The third is the worst. The DRAMA QUEEN.These guys create tension. They cause arguments, and those mental thought processes are often contagious to others. These guys and gals are like the eboli of the social world. They grab hold and never let you go.
Direct your world through people that are similar to you. That have traits and morals that you wish to aspire to. Only then will you be as rich in life as you hope to be in the business wotld!
Work hard, Stay strong, and get results!!!
Your first mistake was deciding to always follow the rules. Your second was following some one else's idea of what was best for you. Third you decided that being supportive meant doing what you were told.
Take your idea of success and throw it out the window. Then GIVE IT THE FINGER. Today is your awakening.
What ever the path you've been given. Mold it, restructure it, and change it. If it is not to your liking, then consciously DECIDE what you need.
FIGURE OUT YOUR WHY for what you need to do next to make things better, and then pull a NIKE on that fool and JUST DO IT.
You will put in the work, and you will eventually want to quit, but you MUST PREVAIL.
No one who decided to be great was EVER NORMAL. They pushed the boundaries of there circomstance, and changed it for profit. When they did they changed themselves and the people around them forever.
1% of all people who start a business succeed. BECAUSE THE OTHER 99% TAKE NO ACTION.
They see the work that needs to be done. They meet adversity. And they turn there back on what could make them a richer, humbler, more powerful person.
I took a test recently on facebook. It asked me to write the first three words I saw within a collage of hundreds of words on a screen. I picked my three.
Power, loyalty, Youth.
I then looked at the answers that 100 other people had given before me. The most common were
Friendship, love, and trust.
At the end of the test, I found out that my combination of words were chosen only by 3 % of the test takers. On top of that, all of the other 97% had looked at the results before taking the test.
Meaning they didn't take risks, and we're not prone to taking action. THEY WERE NORMAL.
DON'T BE NORMAL, IT'S BULLSHIT!
WORK HARD, STAY STRONG. AND GET RESULTS!
You know, today I had a guest come up to me, and she said "This gal over here needs a raise. She sold me today on every thing I touched!"
As she walked away and headed to the door, the team mate shouted "Thanks for comin in Barb, have fun on that trip!", and then waved good bye.
When I think of the business I'm running I don't think of the product or company first. I think of its people. When I train a great employee, I train a business partner.. That person is going to become a personal branding expert. When a guest leaves happy they won't be spreading the news only about the great product they got. They will share the experience they had with it.
Running a successful business means being the FACE OF THE PLACE. You have to create a powerful presence that builds a relationship with its audience. People crave humanity, and that is why that team ate was successful today. She branded herself in the mind of that guest. Not only made a few bucks that aftetnoon, but probably secured a passive income from that guest who will continuously shop with her over and over again.
Remember PEOPLE BUY PEOPLE first.
I murdered my creative mind today when i decided to drink three monsters. My energy level went sky high and then came to an abrupt stop, and i fell hard. I found my pillow in the middle of the afternoon and collapsed.
I did however come up with this idea afterword, so I may sound like a bit of a hypocrite at the end of this piece. It is true though, one of my greatest gifts and faults has always been my gift of procrastination. Putting things back until the very end. In high school it was easy. Teachers didnt expect much. Most of the time what I pulled out of my ass was better than most of the other students any way. It wasn't until college that expectations rose, and i was un prepared. Evan today, running and owning a business takes organization and planned ideas for growth.
I hate feeling that nervousness. So I solved my problem with three actions. The first one was simple, and it changed my life over night. Here's the secret to getting everything started....WRITE IT DOWN!
This might be a surprise to most people, but a pen truly is mightier than the sword., but that's where we start. It's not where we finish. Cause see the next part buddy is to be able to finish your task. Yep Jr. we're gonna finish what we start if we wanna retire rich.
The next step is to make your outcome action decisions. You have to come up with your layers of planning to get you where you wanna go. Break your idea, task, responsibility etc. down into sublevels. Break it down into smaller actions that are feasible for getting shit done!
The last step is to use the right maps. Understand that every thing has a time limit. Don't give your self until the next year to finish some thing. Nothing is worth your time if the time you have isn't productive towards an awesome outcome. That can be said for an thing in life. Plus you probably need the push if your any thing like me. A deadline can't hurt.
I guess the whole point behind these three steps is to rid your mind of all the things that are distracting you and to live in the moment
If anything else this blog is proof that I am in need of these steps, because right now I have procrastinated writing a blog about procrastinating. Yes, that’s right, I waited till the morning that it is due to sit down and write this blog. Irony at its finest! I know at the beginning I kinda hinted I was changing my ways, but hey change is hard and takes time.
WORK HARD, STAY STRONG, GET RESULTS!
